The Journey of Reconnection

For the inattentive: we are living through yet another revolution, for many still silent, but for many others, increasingly evident.

ABC Luxury Hospitality has had a very well-defined purpose and mission in its DNA from day one: we truly believe in this “reconnection” and in the age of regeneration.

We are going through one of the greatest social crises at all levels, in which human beings are becoming increasingly ill and suffering from serious mental disorders and a lack of quality of life and sleep. As Albert Einstein said:

“No problem can be solved by the same degree of awareness that generated it”.

Well, this is the issue that we’ve come to challenge in these lines and seen challenging everyone and everything over the last few years.

It’s very simple, and it’s based on the following:

1. Reconnection between Nature and the Human Being.
2. Reconnection between the Masculine and Feminine, where balance and respect for each other’s individuality is fundamental, as well as mutual support.
3. Reconnection with our inner selves to improve our relationship with our outer selves.
4. Reconnecting the right and left sides of our brain.

When we talk about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) today, we’re talking about Regenerative Leadership, which touches on the points above and, in a way, represents the sustainable transition we all want, even if we have to leave our comfort and safety zone.

It’s actually our fears that make us resist change. Even if our inner voice says, “Go or change,” we prefer to stay in the “comfort” of the known. But if we don’t change for ourselves, we end up being forced to change, and I think the current national, European, and global panorama makes this clear.

We believe that Portugal can play a fundamental role in the world again, creating the conditions for us to “live” proper regeneration and reconnection. We always have to think from the Macro to the Micro, and, in reality, a lot will have to change.

• Education in Portugal: we urgently need to renew ourselves in favor of new consciences and a new world.
• Health in Portugal: there is an urgent need to unite science with spirituality, alternative therapies, and nature.
• Construction versus requalification.
• Work versus quality time.
• Business structures versus business partnerships.
• Infrastructures and the public transport network throughout the country.
• QUALITY and DIFFERENTIATING tourism as an activity that unites and values what we have, who we are, and that works as an economic lever.
